FAQs

Find answers to common questions about the Gen2O Integrated, including installation, maintenance, and support policies.

How does the design process work?

PowerPanel designs the system to meet the hot water requirements of the project. This information is obtained through past usage data.

The owner is responsible for providing roofing information such as: material, weight load, and any issues they are aware of. If this is not available to the owner, we have a national roof network of roofing contractors called Roof Connect we would utilize to obtain all necessary information.

Does PowerPanel handle installation, or would the owner need to find an installer?

The installation will be done by a certified PowerPanel installer.

What about Durability/Longevity of the Array System and Hurricane concerns?

All Gen2O Products are warranted for ten (10) years from the date of delivery with the exception to the Integrated Pump Module. Products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal application, installation, use and service conditions.

All systems are designed/engineered for the wind zone they are installed in.

What about pressure issues with a system like this?

PowerPanel has designed the PVT1 module to be pressure free with open outlets on top. The system has an unpressurized drain back system with water as the working fluid.

How is the system monitored?

PowerPanel uses leading tier one inverter companies for real time monitoring of the electrical output readable on your smartphone.

PowerPanel’s controller system and software outputs thermal data in real time to our monitoring system and can also be accessed by the end user’s smartphone.
